⑤ 頂部に形成された破砕溶岩丘　　1992年12月26日
頂部に、砕石の山みたいな破砕溶岩丘が成長した。破砕溶岩丘は、マグマの供給量が10万㎥/日以下になると、地下で冷却し固まった溶岩が無理やり押し上げられて形成される。第4ローブは、後続の溶岩に押されて2つに裂けるとともに上部から転落する溶岩塊で埋没が進んでいる。その後、第5～9ローブが出現したが、これらも崩壊が進み、左奥の斜面にわずかに第6ローブの残骸が見える。

At the summit, a fractured lava dome resembling a heap of rubble had developed. Fractured lava domes are formed when cooled and solidified lava is forcefully pushed upward from underground as magma supply decreases to 100,000 cubic meters per day or less. The fourth lobe, under pressure from subsequent lava flows, split into two, and blocks of lava tumbled down from the upper portion, advancing the process of burial.
Subsequently, the emergence of the fifth to ninth lobes occurred. However, these too experienced collapse, and remnants of the sixth lobe are faintly visible on the left slope in the distance.
