⑦ 成長を続ける溶岩ドーム　　1993年9月23日
東斜面に成長を始めた一月目の第11Bローブ。その手前下部に、千本木地区に大火災流をもたらした第11Aローブの残骸が見える。このように、溶岩噴出地点が平坦地面かによって、ローブの形態は著しく異なった。ことに斜面の場合は極めて不安定で、成長過程で局部的に崩れ落ち、火砕流を頻発させた。この後、第12、第13ローブも出現したが消滅してしまった。この頃から、溶岩ドームは西側へも成長し、普賢池の理没が始まった。

The first-month-old 11B lobe, initiating its growth on the eastern slope, is visible. In the lower foreground, remnants of the 11A lobe, which caused a major fire in the Senbonki district, can be seen. The morphology of the lobes varied significantly depending on whether the lava eruption point was on flat ground or a slope. Particularly on slopes, the formations were extremely unstable, experiencing localized collapses during the growth process and frequently triggering pyroclastic flows. Subsequently, the 12th and 13th lobes emerged but eventually disappeared. Around this time, the lava dome also expanded to the west, marking the onset of the submergence of Fugen Pond.
