Tamatsukuriyu Shrine is a spiritual spot in Tamatsukuri Onsen, a famous hot spring surrounded by legends and myths.

Although it is not clear when the shrine was built, it has been popular as a place of worship in this hot spring town since ancient times.

The Yasakani no Magatama, which is said to be one of the three sacred treasures, is said to have been created in this area by Kushiakardama no Mikoto, who was considered a god. There is a shrine.

Within the grounds, there is a mysterious ``wishing stone'' that is said to make your wish come true just by touching it and praying. It is said that a long time ago, a villager found a round stone in the mountains that looked like it had been carved by humans, and was delighted, saying, ``The deity of the Stone God has appeared,'' and dedicated it to a shrine as the ``Stone God.''

It seems that there is no shortage of visitors not only from within the prefecture but also from all over the country, who come to pray for success in passing exams, pray for safe childbirth, and have their various wishes come true. Please entrust your wishes to the miraculous "Wishing Stone".
